3. Cookies used on the Website
We use a cookie banner on https://skopo.net which appears at the bottom of the homepage and allows you to “Reject optional” cookies or “Accept optional” cookies. More information is also available in our Cookie Policy at https://skopo.net/cookie-policy.
Following a source-level audit of the Website on 17 September 2026, the Website does not set cookies from its own code. The only strictly necessary item set by our own code is a localStorage preference record (not a cookie) used to remember your cookie choice.
Analytics is integrated but consent-gated: PostHog analytics does not initialise unless you accept optional cookies. Where analytics is not enabled, no analytics cookie is set.
We also note that the Website’s hosting platform may set its own strictly necessary infrastructure cookies at the edge (for example, for security, load-balancing, or content delivery).

We will not set or access optional analytics cookies unless we have obtained your consent through the cookie banner. Consent must be given through a clear affirmative action (clicking “Accept optional”). Continuing to browse the Website, closing the banner or failing to change a default setting does not constitute valid consent.
3.3 Marketing, advertising and other non-essential technologies
The Website may contain links to or integrations with third-party platforms, such as social media, video hosting, mapping, contact-management, advertising or other services.

4.1 How we obtain consent on skopo.net
We obtain consent for optional cookies via our cookie banner (displayed at the bottom of the homepage) in line with PECR requirements.
- If you click “Accept optional”, we will set optional analytics cookies (and any other optional cookies we use, as described in this Policy).
- If you click “Reject optional”, we will not set optional cookies. In that case, only strictly necessary cookies will be set.
Where consent is required, it must be:
